Rezdy and Trip.com Announce First-Time Partnership

SHANGHAI, March. 4, 2019 – Trip.com, an independent online travel agent part of Ctrip Group, Asia’s largest online travel agent announced a new partnership with Rezdy, a SaaS company based in Australia aimed at connecting booking agencies to complementary tourist attraction businesses. Trip.com facilitates travel for APAC region customers and such partnership will allow Chinese travelers to gain access to around 80,000 new travel products across the world.

Trip.com’s cooperation with Rezdy is a win-win partnership. Rezdy is able to raise brand awareness and gain greater presence in China and Asia whilst helping to accelerate Ctrip Group’s pace of development in the overseas market. Ctrip Group and Trip.com will be able to utilize Rezdy’s live-inventory management platform which maximizes access to markets around the world. Rezdy will accelerate the company’s pace of development in the overseas market helping to make international travel a more enjoyable and accessible experience. Such partnership allows thousands of existing travel operators including leading tours, activities and attractions from more than 100 countries on Rezdy’s platform to connect with Trip.com’s and Ctrip Group’s customer base. Developing the overseas travel market is an important step for Ctrip’s internationalization strategy and this new acquisition channel and form of customer engagement offers to benefit all stakeholders in the travel industry.
