SeeUnity, a leading provider of content integration and migration solutions for on-premise and cloud-based Enterprise Content Management applications, is pleased to announce the integration of its Echo Content Synchronization product (Echo) with cleanDocs from DocsCorp, a leading provider of enterprise productivity solutions.
Customers using SeeUnity’s Echo to securely publish content from their DMS to their collaboration system, like HighQ, for external consumption can now minimize the risk of a data breach by utilizing cleanDocs to quickly clean sensitive metadata from their documents, and optionally converting them to secure PDFs. cleanDocs protects against unintentional information leaks by removing metadata based on configurable enterprise-wide policies. It is the only application of its type to work with Echo to clean Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF documents of metadata at sub-second speed.
“SeeUnity looks to integrate with and leverage complimentary products in order to further extend product value to our common customers. We saw a good fit here to provide added capabilities to customers using our Echo Content Synchronization product to sync content between their DMS and collaboration platforms,” explained Dan Anderson, CEO, SeeUnity.
The SeeUnity and DocsCorp integration offers users an added layer of security when collaborating externally, promoting workflow efficiency and supporting document governance. Organizations taking advantage of the Echo publish functions can now choose cleanDocs options from within the Echo Admin Studio. Echo works together with policy files configured in the cleanDocs utility to remove or keep specified document metadata as content is published to the collaboration system.
"DocsCorp is delighted to expand on its partnership with SeeUnity. Both our organizations have been providing our respective technologies separately to the same clients globally for more than 10 years. This integration provides a more seamless approach for clients and ensures that the risk of unintentional data leaks is eliminated," says Dean Sappey, President and Co-Founder of DocsCorp.
