BRW : Bailador leads $3m Series A for tour booking startup Rezdy

Rezdy co-founder Simon Lenoir held out for 12 months for an Australian venture capitalist against a barrage of US interest, and he’s finally found one in the form of former Fairfax CEO David Kirk, whose Bailador Technology Investments has led a $3 million Series A round for the tour & activity bookings software startup.
David Kirk, partner at Bailador Technology Investments, insists Rezdy has been on his radar for a while. “Rezdy is a business that we have watched develop over the past three years.We have confidence that Simon and his team have ‘cracked the code’ to execute in this extremely attractive $30 billion global market,” says Kirk, who will become chair of Rezdy.
