Updoc, the Australian-founded and owned national virtual care platform trusted by millions of Australians, has entered into a partnership with one of Australia's largest not-for-profit health insurers, HBF Health.
Under the partnership, Updoc will be HBF’s exclusive telehealth partner, providing eligible HBF members with discounted access to timely, convenient virtual healthcare, wherever they are in Australia through Updoc's network of independent, Australian-registered Partner Doctors.
Updoc and HBF have a shared focus on improving healthcare accessibility for all Australians and this partnership is aimed at reducing the barriers of cost, distance, and availability that can delay people from getting the care they need.
As a leading national virtual care platform, Updoc supports Australians wherever they live, from major cities to regional and remote areas. The partnership will give HBF members another option for more timely access to healthcare, alongside their existing cover.
“Partnering with HBF lets us bring timely, convenient healthcare to more Australians, wherever they live,” said Clifton Hodgkinson, co-founder of Updoc.
“HBF's member-first approach reflects exactly the kind of accessible, patient-focused care we set out to build.”
Since launching in 2021, Updoc has supported millions of consultations where Australians can access care from wherever they are. Through Updoc for Business, Updoc partners with businesses, employers and other organisations to give their members and employees simple, affordable access to virtual care.
HBF is the latest organisation to partner with Updoc, and we're excited by this important partnership.
