Ryanair has partnered with Siteminder to enable European hotels to sell their properties via Ryanair Rooms.
According to a statement some 30,000 hotel customers in Europe can now use Ryanair Rooms as a distribution channel.
The statement says the accommodation arm is taking its “hotel booking platform to the next level.”
The partnership comes just as Ryanair closed its Ryanair Holidays packaging service after only two years in service.
The low-cost carrier has said it is discontinuing the service but has yet to provide any further details.
Ryanair Holidays was unveiled in late-2016 as part of the airline’s push to be the “Amazon of travel.” Its launch came just after a relaunch of Ryanair Rooms.
The airline's accommodation strategy has followed many paths over the years, including a white label deal with Expedia probably the most high-profile in the late-2000s due to its climax in the courts over fees.
