Presented by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission and the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the ACT Exporter of the Year Award recognises companies that have contributed greatly to the community by means of creating new jobs and increasing economic prosperity.
As the ‘Exporter of the Year’, the chief minister’s award showcases Instaclustr’s role in an internationally competitive business sector, recognises its excellence in the export of goods and services, and celebrated the brand.
“We are elated to see Instaclustr recognised with this prestigious award, especially among a strong cohort of nominees. In eight years, we have witnessed the company go from strength to strength on the world stage, attracting a host of global clientele, while still running product development and customer support from a small but great city, Canberra,” comments Instaclustr CEO Peter Lilley.
“We are proud to demonstrate the nation’s capital’s growing reputation as an incubator of innovative technology across a range of sectors. We remain committed to new jobs locally and with our open source technology, we are focused on driving innovation, democratising access to technology and in the process, providing a strong boost to our local economy,” Lilley enthuses.
Instaclustr has achieved distinction within the territory. Following this, Instaclustr and other ACT winners across various categories, which include ‘emerging exporter’, ‘creative industries’ and more, will progress as national finalists. Winners at the national awards will be announced next month.
Founded in 2013 as a cloud native business by Ben Bromhead and Adam Zegelin, Instaclustr strives to help businesses unlock the power of open source technology, simplifying adoption and offering enhanced reliability and performance at scale.
