Rosterfy is proud to announce that they will be working with not-for-profit organisation, Disability Sports Australia, to streamline and manage their impressive national network of volunteers and 70 come-and-try events.
Disability Sports Australia (DSA) is one of Australia’s nine (9) National Sporting Organisations for people with disability with a focus on enabling more Australians with disability to be active more often.
Ayden Shaw, General Manager of Disability Sports Australia said, “We are delighted to partner with Rosterfy as we believe they have the perfect solution to achieve our volunteer management goals.
"Rosterfy’s automations technology will allow us to significantly reduce the hours of administration to screen and onboard our volunteers, while also delivering a more consistent and engaging experience for them and our sport delivery partners."
Shaw added: “Another benefit of Rosterfy is that it will make our volunteer program more accessible to people with disabilities thanks to its integration with UserWay, a web accessibility tool. This will enable individuals to complete the volunteer journey according to their accessibility needs and will strengthen our volunteer program as a whole.
“Our volunteer workforce is the backbone of our organisation, but they also deserve the best screening and compliance processes. We used to spend over 1000 hours per year on screening our internal volunteers by hand, and even more on our corporate and external volunteers. This was a huge drain on our small team and a very adhoc process. But we also had amazing volunteers who gave 2,500 hours to our organisation, which we are very grateful for.
"Thanks to Rosterfy’s automations technology, we can now cut our screening time significantly, while also giving our volunteers a more consistent and engaging onboarding experience. This means we can focus more on delivering quality programs for our participants and partners, and on expanding our impact and reach in the disability sports sector.”
Shannan Gove, Co Founder and Head of Sales, Asia Pacific at Rosterfy said, ”Organisations like Disability Sports Australia are an incredible resource to the community so anything we can do to make their lives easier is really important to us.”
“Managing volunteers has never been more challenging and yet resources have never been tighter. From the need to adequately screen volunteers, to maximising compliance and minimising risk through data protection and security, volunteer managers simply don’t have enough hours in the day to get everything done. Rosterfy will allow the team at DSA to significantly reduce their manual workload but will also ensure a more seamless and engaging experience for their volunteers and sport delivery partners - a big win for everyone!”
With experience working alongside some of Australia’s most beloved nonprofits and charities including the Red Cross, St Vinnies and Lifeline, Rosterfy is well positioned to support Disability Sports Australia and their volunteers.
