NZ Business reported Straker Translations is disrupting the $40bn translation market with its innovative translation platform and aiming for a spot in the Top 5 companies in the industry.

Straker uses a unique technology platform combined with over 40,000 crowdsourced translations to deliver quicker and more accurate translations.

Already in the Top 60 companies of the $40bn translation industry, Straker is aiming for a spot in the Top 5 – and employee numbers are expected to double over the next 18 months.

The company was founded in New Zealand in 2000 by CEO Grant Straker and COO Merryn Straker and employs 50 people at its Albany head office, with further production centres in Barcelona, Denver and Dublin and sales offices around the world.
